- Topic 3: Wholeness and Balance -

This week we worked on a the Wholeness and Balance module. In this module we looked at how we can achieve a balanced personality. The module taught us that everybody has sub personalities which are all as important as each other. They all need to be understood to create the wholeness that we seek. Apart from our sub personalities we also need to pay attention to the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our lives. Making sure these are also balanced out.
There are a few examples of the sub personalities we all have. We all have a driver. This is the part of us that puts pressure on yourself to do well. We learnt the importance of not letting this sub personality be over or underdeveloped. If its overdeveloped you tend to be pushy and can turn people off. If its underdeveloped you can tend to be lazy and very laid back. This is a good example of keeping a good balance. The other key aspects we need to keep balanced are our physical, mental, spiritual and emotional sides. Physical being eating working etc. Mental involves solution seeking and knowledge. The key to this module was looking at what you spend most time on and how you can get a good mix of all. Therefore creating good wholeness and balance.
