Leadership Coaching Blog 2
- Topic 2: Authentic Skills -

Last week, we learned more about who we are and how to be true to ourselves. This week we worked on the Authentic Skills module. We discovered what we are actually good at and had to be completely honest with ourselves on exercises, which was very thought-provoking. We did not even know some aspects of ourselves even existed. Taking a look at what we are proud of, what we value, and what we want for the future are just a few of the key areas which this module focusses.
In this module we took two very important questionnaires; the Belbin Test and the Myers-Briggs Test. In the Belbin Test, we found out what role we play in a working environment. This test brought surprising results because we were not clear about how we acted in a team beforehand. It was also interesting to see what famous individuals act in similar roles as us. In the Myers-Briggs Test, we realised what categories we are regarding energy, perception, judgement, and orientation. It is a fun exercise that helps you understand your peers better if you know their Myers-Briggs profile.

Next week we will focus on Module 3, Wholeness and Balance. It covers our needs and subpersonalities.
