The New Statesman Awards celebrated the websites’ contribution given to public life, and in particular, the achievement of technology, the power of new ideas and innovation in the public and government sectors.
The intern Livia Anzaldo represented The Warwick Leadership Foundation on the evening and reported: "The whole event made me realise realise the great impact technology has had in the last decades in all aspects and sector of society, from communication and entertainment to the role of Government, both in terms of the public services and how they are delivered. From interactive transport websites, route planners which I use on a daily basis and application processing systems, technology has transformed the largest public services in the UK".
